Orfeo Fioretos is Associate Professor of Political Science at Temple University, Philadelphia. His research focuses on international cooperation, especially the formal and informal institutions that structure economic relations among states. He is a 2018-19 CAS Fellow at LMU. Fioretos holds a Ph.D. in political science from Columbia University. His work includes Creative Reconstruction: Multilateralism and European Varieties of Capitalism (2011), and edited volumes such as International Politics and Institutions in Time (2017), and the Oxford Handbook of Historical Institutionalism (2016). His ongoing projects concern the origins and evolution of informal international institutions and pathways of reform in global economic governance.
